![]() ![]() you will save money if your looking for something easy. i myself like to see a chlorine register on my test strips and that is why the mineral systems are not very common, Look into salt water for an in-ground. they make sure you use their tablets by putting them in a container that only fits inside the frog system. in other words your using the frog as a chlorinator and the bac pacs/ aka chlorine tabs are like $21 per 2#. the frog system is a great system, however people are not told that it is a low chlorine system, so when they test their water they see low chlorine and end up adding chlorine or turning the frog system up to register chlorine. the cartridge replacement is $125 every year or 4 months. as the water flows through the cartridge the minerals which are silver and copper, (and yes i know the frog doesnt use silver, Nature 2 does) kill bacteria and algae. Mineral sanitizers are good if understood, they do not disperse minerals into the pool.
